Biography

Frank Arcuri – (b. 1946) American, studied at the School of Visual Arts and the Arts Student League. He is a modern master of classically inspired still life  images who considers the creation of his canvases as much a continual process of “seeing” as it is a process of painting. At the heart of his work is the interpretation of light, whether it is a product of color, value, form or texture. Mr. Arcuri’s paintings at once bring to mind the academic excellence of the Dutch masters of the 17th Century, while still clearly possessing an immediacy and freshness that speaks of today. Mr. Arcuri has received brilliant reviews and critical acclaim for his exhibitions in New York, London and Hong Kong.
